On 17 April 2026, the TRANSITION project brought together experts from partner institutions to reflect on the role of cultural heritage in contexts affected by conflict, fragility and social change.
The webinar highlighted the importance of safeguarding living heritage in challenging environments, with insights on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the Yezidi community, and the city of Aden in Yemen.
The discussion also featured the #TRANSITIONPodcast "Conversations Around Cultural Heritage", as a space for dialogue and critical reflection on tangible and intangible heritage 🎙️
Through this event, TRANSITION reaffirmed its commitment to promoting dialogue, knowledge-sharing and cooperation around cultural heritage as a driver of resilience, identity and social cohesion.
