The aim is to the academic improvement, off the – job and on the job training, scientific and technical development. and the dissemination of the knowledge of all the areas in which both institution coincide

1)    To provide professors of different medical specialties in order to support the teaching process by undergraduate and postgraduate students.

2)    To carry out combined research.

3)    To bring advice in relation to obtain scientific degrees.

4)    Interchange of bibliography.

5)    Interchange of experience on curriculum design.

6)    Development of projects of scientific degree.

Five years

This agreement will stop having the desired legal effect as deciding by one accord of both parts and when one of them communicates in writing to the other part its desire of regarding the agreement as settled.

1)    The Yemeni side asked to keep the number of 12 Cuban professors for assistance- teaching- research services in the medical school of Aden in the pre and postgraduate activities defining the specialties according to the needs and keeping the same financial conditions and way of living up to now.

In this final aspect they asked the Cuban side to accept to be paid the premium at the end of the contract instead of yearly as was done before.   They also asked to maintain the new professors for a period of 3years with vacations as established before.

2)    The Yemeni side will invite 2 Cuban professors yearly for a short period of time (1-2months) with purpose of supervising the analysis specific topics of their specialties, designs of research  protocols, as well as the opening and development of new assistance-teaching-research services for the pre and postgraduate, it will include Estomatology, the financial conditions of this agreement will be the payment the air-passage (departure and return),  the housing and $1800 in USD monthly as honoraries.

3)    Especially related to scientific research the Yemeni side was interested in developing these aspects with the Cuban supervisor , therefore to begin this work a joint project titled "strategy for the control, elimination and extermination of viral hepatitis b in the republic of Yemen" was presented.

  Related to the postgraduated education of Yemeni teachers in Cuba, the University of Aden requested the Cuban side to consider the possibility of accepting yearly 2 residences, making price considerations, so this institution can pay them due to its economical limitations, it is proposed to the Cuban side the payment of the complete price of one of the residences and that the other is given free of costs, so the ISCM-H  must analyze this request with the corresponding Cuban authorities.
